You are why we do what we do

How you helped Watershed Trends become a reality

We are thrilled that everyone who commissions us to create their keepsake collection, knows they are getting one of a kind artwork worthy of the greatest watershed moments of their life.

Watershed Trends CEO

Before I created Watershed Trends, I collected 20 years’ worth of skill over a wide variety of art but had no particular attachment to any one.

Then one day flower preservation crossed my path. I knew instantly that learning this art would provide stunning keepsake options for those looking for custom gifts beyond the typical fare.

I was concerned that I would just be investing in another one of my artistic interests and no one would take much notice.

But then…

I posted a few pieces on Instagram and potential clients started asking nearly every day how they could hire me to preserve their memories.

I decided I would set out to create pieces with the best clarity and design for those with a taste for sophistication.

It turns out, the road was more difficult than I imagined.

My first piece was full of cloudy swirls, yellow over heated layers and more bubbles than the ocean shore line. I continued my efforts just to burn flowers with hot resin and ended up with pieces that sported bumpy tops and sharp edges.

I began to seek out better supplies and methods. I put away molds that were made for soap and bought custom molds made for resin that would give me a glass like finish. I then spent thousands of dollars testing better resins and drying agents that would give me the exceptional result I was looking for.

I feared I was wasting my money and would never be able to succeed at making exceptional quality pieces for my clients.

Dedicated to providing an incredible product, perseverance paid off through hundreds of hours of trials and the response has been astounding.
